Welcome to Payday, a financial tracking and budgeting application provided by Codenzi ("we", "our", or "us"). Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information across our iOS, Android, and macOS platforms.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with the best budgeting experience, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Financial Data: Any income, expense, category, and savings goal data you manually enter into the app.
• Subscription Data: We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions. This includes your purchase history and subscription status.
• Usage & Technical Data: We collect anonymous data such as device model, OS version, and app interaction via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to improve app performance.
• Push Tokens: We collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you payday and bill reminders.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To calculate your daily spending limits and payday countdowns.
• To provide financial insights, trends, and reports.
• To manage your premium subscription and provide access to advanced features.
• To send automated notifications regarding upcoming bills and salary cycles.
• To display relevant advertisements via Google Mobile Ads (for free-tier users).

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal or financial data. We share information only with service providers necessary for the app's functionality:

• Google Firebase: For data storage, authentication, and analytics.
• RevenueCat: For processing and validating in-app subscriptions.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): For displaying advertisements in the free version of the app.
• Apple/Google: To process in-app payments.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account via the app settings, all your personal and financial data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Some anonymized technical logs may be kept for up to 90 days for security auditing.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including TLS 1.2+ encryption for data in transit and server-side encryption for data at rest provided by Firebase. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA & APP)

Depending on your location, you have the following rights:

• The right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you.
• The right to opt-out of tracking or personalized advertising via your device settings.
• The right to request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

7. Children's Privacy

Payday is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
